Dr. Lynda Keaveney

Chief Clinical Officer, Vhi Health and Wellbeing

Dr. Lynda Keaveney is Chief Clinical Officer at Vhi Health and Wellbeing, where she provides clinical leadership and oversight across all healthcare delivery within Vhi services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
In addition to her core responsibilities, Dr. Keaveney supports the Vhi Group Healthcare Office as senior clinical lead for a number of strategic programmes. These initiatives are designed to improve long-term health outcomes while aligning with Vhi's sustainability strategy, which prioritises integrated care, digital innovation, and resource-efficient service delivery. Dr. Keaveney has most recently overseen in the successful rollout of Vhi's Electronic Medical Record system and the opening of the Vhi 360 Health Centre in Galway a project that reflects a commitment to
modern, scalable, and sustainable healthcare infrastructure. Her work contributes directly to Vhi's goal of building a resilient healthcare system that supports both population health and environmental responsibility. With a career spanning over 25 years, Dr. Keaveney has held senior clinical and governance roles in
Ireland, Canada, and Qatar. Her international experience includes leading quality improvement and patient safety programmes, implementing virtual care models, and developing clinical audit and performance review systems. She is also deeply committed to medical education and has contributed
to training programmes for clinicians and medical students across multiple institutions.
