Claire Shannon

Healthcare Director, HealthTech Ireland

Claire Shannon joined the HealthTech Ireland team as Healthcare Director in 2022. Claire brings over 20 years’ experience in the MedTech sector, holding commercial and clinical roles in organisations including BD, Covidien, Healthcare 21 and Fannin Healthcare. She is the executive lead in many of the HealthTech Ireland working groups, including Sustainability and Regulatory, and led the recent publication ‘Driving sustainability in healthtech supply chains through procurement – an Irish leadership opportunity’.

In additional to many years commercial success, she holds a degree in Nutrition and Dietetic and an MSc in Science Communication.
