With over 20 years' experience in financial services across government relations, strategy, and corporate sustainability, Emer joined Vhi in 2022 initially establishing the Vhi sustainability strategy, and now leading the sustainability transformation for the Group.

She is dedicated to integrating environmental, and social sustainability practices into Vhi's operations. She is leading initiatives aimed at reducing Vhi’s carbon footprint, promoting eco-friendly practices in clinical operations and focusing on the interconnection between the health of people and the health of the planet.

Emer sits on a number of industry groups tasked with peer learning and collaboration on shared sustainability challenges including IBEC Sustainability Leaders Forum, Insurance Ireland Sustainability Advisory Working Group and the Commercial Semi State Sustainability working group. 

Emer is passionate about creating a healthier future and ensuring that Vhi's business model aligns with its commitment to sustainability.
